When I was using twitter this week I found some interesting information about several animals. While I was surfing the internet I found some good articles about wolfs and behavior among the pack which a fun topic for me to learn about. I learned a lot of new things about animals on twitter including the role of sea otters in their environment, and how large an ostrich is able to grow.
I retweeted a lot of my classmates tweets about animal facts and some of animal cruelty. I tweeted a good amount about wolves and their behavior and koala pictures. The best thing I saw on twitter was a life size model of an elephant in India wearing a mask to spread awareness about Covid-19.
For my blog responses I chose to read the annotations of Bird Brain. I responded to Olivia Canales's blog and told her that I really liked how she mentioned the bird mourning for the death of her loved one, even causing harm to herself. I then replied to Briana Colquelet's blog and mentioned how she did an excellent job summarizing how the Kea bird species communicate among one another. For my third response, I responded to Jazmine Hernandez's blog and mentioned how creative and thoughtful the images were while I was reading. I also said that her post was fun to read and well written.
Hello Mark!
Are you looking into doing research in wolves and their social behavior? I'm glad that you retweeted tweets from peers especially since everyone has been sharing unique and interesting information.
Hi Mark, I enjoyed your blog post this week and how you included examples of things you learned this week such as you learning how important otters are to their environment.
Hi Mark,
I think this blog post was very well written and in-depth enough for the topics it faced, I also like that you brought up the animal mourning example, that is one of the most fascinating things we have learned about in this class.
Hi Mark! First off, I really enjoyed the design and set up of your portfolio. Also, I really enjoyed reading your blog, I especially liked the example you added in of the elephant wearing a mask.
